How much water for 2 cups of rice?โ–พ

For medium-grain white rice (Pandan/Jasmine/IR64): 2 cups rice = 3 cups water (1:1.5 ratio) = 540ml. Basmati: 2 cups rice = 3.5 cups water. Brown rice: 2 cups = 4.5 cups water.

How long does rice take in a rice cooker?โ–พ

Can I cook glutinous rice in a rice cooker?โ–พ

Not recommended for auto mode. Glutinous rice needs soaking (4-6 hr or overnight) then steaming for 30 min. Some rice cookers have a glutinous mode.
